A Baltimore County man was arrested on drug charges after officers searched his truck in Harper's Choice and found crack cocaine Thursday night, Howard County police said.
Christopher Karl Johnson, 18, of the 6700 block of Yataruba Drive was released on an unsecured bond Friday, a Howard District Court commissioner said.
Mr. Johnson was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police said the suspect's 1985 Chevrolet Blazer was pulled over at Cedar Lane and Little Patuxent Parkway Thursday night. Detectives from the Street Drug Section, who had a warrant based on an investigation, searched the car.
They confiscated a 26.3-gram piece of crack cocaine, two pagers and $176. The vehicle was impounded.
