PITTSBURGH (1-1) at No. 23 OHIO STATE (1-1)

TV: ESPN, 12:30 p.m.

Line: Ohio State by 18.

Outlook: Billy West again starts for the injured Curtis Martin at halfback. The Panthers didn't miss Martin last week, as West rushed 26 times for 226 yards and a TD in a 30-16 victory over Ohio University. Buckeyes QB Bobby Hoying completed 19 of 38 passes for 288 yards and a TD in a 25-16 loss at Washington.

No. 13 UCLA (2-0) at No. 2 NEBRASKA (2-0)

TV: Chs. 13, 7, 3:30 p.m.

Line: Nebraska by 16.

Outlook: Last season, freshman Lawrence Phillips surprised UCLA by rushing for 137 yards and a TD in the Cornhuskers' 14-13 victory. This year, he's the featured back and has piled up 301 yards on 43 carries. QB Tommie Frazier has been better on the ground, with 214 yards rushing and four TDs. The Bruins, who needed a goal line stand to hold off SMU last week, again will be without star WR J. J. Stokes. With Stokes injured, Kevin Jordan (13 catches for 235 yards) has emerged as the No. 1 receiver. The Bruins' ground attack is led by Sharmon Shah (45 carries for 291 yards).

No. 1 FLORIDA (2-0) at No. 15 TENNESSEE (1-1)

TV: ESPN, 6:30 p.m.

Line: Florida by 5.

Outlook: All signs point to a high-scoring game. With Terry Dean throwing 11 TD passes the Gators have scored 143 points in their first two games. Complementing Dean's passing is the running of Elijah Williams (26 carries for 211 yards and 2 TDs). The Volunteers counter with QB Todd Helton (23 of 41 for 275 yards and 2 TDs) and RB James Stewart (40 carries for 298 yards and 5 TDs). Florida won last season, 41-34, and has won six of the past eight meetings. The winning team in each of the past four meetings has scored at least 31 points.

No. 10 WISCONSIN (1-0) at No. 7 COLORADO (1-0)

TV: ESPN, 9:30 p.m.

Line: Colorado by 6.

Outlook: Both teams opened with laughers. The Badgers routed Eastern Michigan, 56-0, with Brent Moss rushing for 129 yards and three TDs and QB Darrell Bevell completing 10 of 17 passes for 126 yards and a TD. The Buffaloes had a week off after rolling up 549 yards in a 48-13 victory over Northeast Louisiana. QB Kordell Stewart completed 15 of 19 passes for 207 yards and two TDs, and Rashaan Salaam rushed for 184 yards on 24 carries and three TDs.
