A woman who awoke on Wednesday morning to find her $1,000 wedding band missing believes her dog may have swallowed it, county police said.
Sharon Lee Fremd, 46, of the 300 block of Sharon Drive reported the incident shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday. She told police she went to bed on Tuesday and left the ring on her dresser. It was gone when she woke up, but all the windows and doors of the house were locked, police said.
