* Mount Airy: Engines from Mount Airy and Union Bridge assisted Frederick County in fighting a silo blaze on Woodville Road at 3:21 p.m. Friday. Units were out for two hours.

Mount Airy firefighters assisted Frederick County at a truck fire on Interstate 70 at 9:28 a.m. Friday. They were out for 25 minutes.
