Consignment shop to open fourth season

Project PROMise, the prom and party dress consignment shop, will open for a fourth season from Saturday through Oct. 30 at its new location in the Kings's Contrivance Village Center.

The shop is run by county school students who sell their dresses and purchase nearly new dresses, learn about business and perform community service.

Proceeds benefit Grassroots and the Domestic Violence Center.

The grand reopening will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday. Shop hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays, noon to 5 p.m. Sundays and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Donated and consigned dresses will be accepted from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow and during store hours.

Volunteers also are needed to serve as salespeople.

Information: 465-9321.
