PVM Plastics gets $140,000 loan

PVM Plastics has received a direct loan of $140,000 from the Incentive Fund of the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC) to expand its operations on New Ridge Road in Harmans.

The company employs 15 people and performs specialty plastics fabrication, machining and distribution.

The AAEDC's Incentive Fund contains over $1 million to county companies for business loans.

Goldwell Cosmetics begins construction

Goldwell Cosmetics (U.S.A., Inc. has broken ground on a new 180,000-square-foot, $22 million North American headquarters and manufacturing center in Linthicum.

A German-based firm that makes hair care products, Goldwell has operated a distribution center in Annapolis Junction.

The company currently employs 60 people, and expects that number to double with the completion of the first phase of its new headquarters in 1996.

Stam Promotions open for business

Stam Promotions, a newly formed Annapolis company that features marketing and advertising specialty items, has opened its doors at 134 Holiday Court.

The company offers mugs, T-shirts and other specialty items for business promotion.
