Miniature train engines, cameras stolen

THE BALTIMORE SUN

An antique miniature train engine worth $15,000 was stolen Monday from a house on Gatewater Court, county police said yesterday.

Timothy Charles Boone, 24, told police he left his apartment around 12:30 a.m. and locked the doors. He returned at 6:30 p.m. and found his front door open, police said. There were no signs of forced entry.

In all, seven train engines and two antique cameras were taken from the owner's bedroom closet. The cameras were worth $1,000. Two other engines were worth a total of $330. Police did not know the value of four of the engines.
