Reflections of a Lifetime moves to Savage Mill

The Reflections of a Lifetime art studio, formerly in Gambrills, has moved to Bollman Studio 204 at Historic Savage Mill.

The studio will celebrate its grand opening from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 16 as part of the Howard County Arts Gala in the New Weave Building's Savage Gallery. The celebration will continue in Studio 204 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 17 with refresh

ments, live music and time to meet the artists.

The studio will be open to the public each Tuesday for workshops. Information: (301) 317-1719.

POLICE LOG

* Jessup: 6600 block of U.S. 1: A burglar drove his car into the front door at Dougal's Korner three times, then entered carrying a trash can. The store's security camera shows him loading the trash can with cigarettes and then fleeing once the alarm sounded just after midnight Sunday. Police said the suspect was a 6-foot-tall white male with collar-length hair. He wore a dark baseball cap and a dark t-shirt under a checkered, long-sleeved shirt.

7700 block of Sharewood Drive: A TV and VCR tapes were stolen after someone pried open a home's rear door and entered Monday, police said.

* Scaggsville: 7100 block of Chilton Road: Someone entered a house under construction through an unlocked garage door Thursday or Friday. The door leading into the house was kicked open, but nothing was taken, police said.
