Star of Cozzene, 12th in Sunday's Arlington Million after winning the 1993 race, was retired from racing.

The Kentucky-bred horse, owned by Tomaeato Farms, had 14 victories in 37 starts with earnings of $2.3 million. He'll stand at stud in Japan.
