The League of Women Voters of Carroll County will have a preprimary candidate forum Thursday to offer the public a chance to meet the candidates and hear their positions on issues.

The forum will be held in the Great Hall of Carroll Community College, 1601 Washington Road, Westminster. Carroll County Board of Education candidates will speak from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., followed by candidates for the District 5 House of Delegates race at 8:40 p.m.

Candidates for other offices are welcome to attend and display their literature.

Carroll Community College and The Sun for Carroll County are co-sponsors of the forum.
