Missing student's car found on lot

BALTIMORE -- A car owned by a missing University of Maryland Law School student has been found, county police said.

A county policeman on duty Saturday night found the car, a dark blue 1985 four-door Honda Accord with Maryland tags BPD-119 and owned by Carmella Genene Pennington, 23, of the 600 block of S. Paca St., on the Park & Ride lot at the University of Maryland at Baltimore County.

Police said the car had no signs of violence. It is being stored at a towing company lot on U.S. 40 west.

Ms. Pennington, city police said, was reportedly last seen at her home around 5:30 P.M. last Monday.

They said the woman requires medication but did not describe the medication or what its used for.

Anyone knowing the where abouts of the woman is urged to call the city police at 396-2100 or the county police at 887-0872.
