* Long Reach: 8700 block of Cloudleap Court: Someone broke into a vacant apartment through a rear bedroom window and vandalized the place sometime between Aug. 16 and Saturday, police said.

6700 block of Thornfree Court: A home was entered after someone removed a skylight and unscrewed several exterior lights while the residents were away on vacation between Aug. 1 and Sunday. Police said the home was ransacked.
