Youths rob boy, 13, of his $280 bicycle

A group of youths robbed a 13-year-old boy of his bike Friday evening as he rode on Brookhaven Road near Edwin Raynor Boulevard in Jacobsville, county police said.

The boy told police a black Ford Mustang with four youths inside pulled up beside him around 8:30 p.m. Two youths in the back seat got out of the car, police said. One of the youths knocked the boy to the ground, took his bike and rode off. The other youth walked into some nearby woods, while the two others drove off in the Mustang, police said.

The bike was valued at $280.
