Carroll County public schools offer career and technology education programs in business, agriculture, marketing, health occupations, trade, industrial, and consumer and homemaking education.

Each of the county's five high schools has programs in business, agriculture, and consumer and homemaking education.

The Carroll County Career and Technology Center in Westminster and at South Carroll High School in Winfield offer trade and industrial programs.

The health occupation programs are at the Westminster center only, while marketing education is available at Westminster High School only.

The Westminster and South Carroll centers are half-day career specialization schools.

Students in 10th through 12th grades may enroll in the centers' competency-based programs, provided that they meet prerequisites for specific courses.

Students are enrolled concurrently in the career and technology center and their home school. Bus transportation is provided to students between their home school and career and technology center.

A vocational support service team is available to work with disadvantaged and disabled students who need assistance.
