Jan Ferguson has been appointed to the Anne Arundel Community College Foundation's board of directors.

The foundation develops endowments for college scholarships and raises money for college building projects.

Ms. Ferguson, an Anne Arundel Community College graduate, is president of Jan Ferguson Inc., an Annapolis interior plantscaping company.

She and foundation member Marge Teel will lead the foundation's Special Events Committee, which coordinates fund-raising events.
