27-year-old woman robbed by 2 men, 1 with handgun, in Kings Contrivance

A 27-year-old Columbia woman was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night as she removed items from the trunk of her car in Kings Contrivance, county police said.

No one was injured in the 10 p.m. robbery in the 9700 block of Clock Tower Lane Thursday, police said.

According to police, the woman was bending over to collect her belongings from the trunk when two men approached her.

One of the men displayed a small handgun and demanded the woman's purse and car keys.

The woman complied and was ordered into her vehicle.

The two men then ran away, police said.

Police said the two men were described as being in their teens.
