RANDALLSTOWN -- Baltimore County police investigating the fatal shooting of a man found inside his Church Lane apartment yesterday afternoon were seeking the public's help in identifying his killer.

Police said the victim, a 33-year-old Jamaican whose identity was being withheld pending notification of his family, had been dead for several days before his girlfriend found him around 3 p.m. yesterday lying on the bedroom floor of his apartment in the 8200 block of Church Lane.

Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene from at least one gunshot wound to the head.

The man's family was expected to be reached today or over the weekend.

Police requested that anyone, especially residents of the immediate area of the slaying, who may have information about the man's death call the Garrison Precinct at 887-1570.
