Turf Valley Hotel makes staff changes

Turf Valley Hotel and Country Club inEllicott City has announced three personnel changes.

Jackie Neidhardt of Ellicott City has been hired as personnel administrative assistant. She graduated last year from the University of Maryland with a degree in business management.

Angie Apostolou of Perry Hall has been hired as the catering sales manager.

Kelly Quinlan of Baltimore will be the country club's first concierge. Ms. Quinlan grew up in Columbia and began working for Turf Valley in 1990 as a marketing assistant.

Retirement community names nursing director

Kay Trantham has been appointed director of nursing services at Vantage House Life Care Retirement Community in Columbia.

Mrs. Trantham previously worked with Cuppett Management Co., which owns and operates two nursing homes in Garrett County.

Community Services picks executive director

The Association of Community Services of Howard County announced that John G. Geist has been appointed executive director.
