THE BALTIMORE SUN

Capitol College's bachelor of science program in telecommunications engineering technology recently received full accreditation from the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.

Capitol, located in Laurel, is one of two colleges in the nation to have this accreditation.

Last year, the MCI Corp. donated a new telecommunications lab to the college, which offers students a working communications model that includes a full-scale advanced fiber optic transmission system, high speed digital equipment and a telephone network.

Fall classes begin Aug. 29. Official registration will run from Aug. 24 through Aug 26. Information: (301) 953-3200.
