* 18-and-under boys -- Tom Salkeld scored 22 points to lead the Hoyas (6-1) past the Blue Devils, 69-50, last week in The Supreme Sports Club High School Basketball League.
Gregg Kellett (14 points), Corey Butler (13) and James Rumann (12) also sparked the Hoyas' offense. Simon Bwalya (23), Sekou Hayes (12) and Carlos Mungo (10) paced the Devils (3-4).
The Bruins improved to 4-3 with an 80-59 win over the Terps (1-6). T.J. Rondon and Paul Sim led the Bruins with 18 points each, and Tony Howard (16) and Sean Jefferson (10) also contributed.
The Terps' Stephen Guest scored a game-high 31 points.
* 13-14 boys -- Two teams stayed perfect last week in the league.
The Knicks and Rockets each improved to 3-0 with narrow victories on Sunday.
The Knicks got 20 points from Greg Gray, 13 from Gregg Kellett and 12 from Frank Waller en route to a 52-49 win over the Celtics (1-2).
Derwin Simpson led all scorers with 24 points in a losing cause.
The Rockets, led by the offense of Tim Frazier (25 points), edged the Suns, 56-53.
* 10-12 boys -- The Irish (2-1) got 14 points from Corey Conaway en route to a 39-36 win over the Eagles.
Steven Payne paced the Eagles (1-2) with 19 points, and Eric Jones scored eight.
The Hoyas (1-2) picked up their first win of the season, upsetting the previously unbeaten Terps, 51-26.
Corey Simpson (16 points) and Kevin Chrapaty (11) led the way for the Hoyas. Scott Kincaid (10) paced the Terps (2-1).
* 8-9 boys -- In a battle of unbeatens, the Junior Warriors improved to 3-0 with a 20-18 win over the Junior Spurs (2-1).
Brian Cunningham paced the Warriors with eight points. Mike Dunn scored nine for the Spurs.
The Junior Hornets (1-2) topped the Junior Sonics, 29-18. Chad Gillenwater led the Hornets with 12, and Casey Guinn scored 11.
Brad Mandart led the Sonics (0-3) with 14. Todd Yazbin (18 points), John Bishop (16) and Omar Bradford (13) helped the Sonics.
