Ecker picks Griffin for marketing post
Randall M. Griffin has been named by County Executive Charles I. Ecker as the Howard County representative on the board of trustees for the Greater Washington Marketing Partnership.
Mr. Griffin is the director and president of the Constellation Real Estate Group, a Columbia subsidiary of the Baltimore Gas and Electric Co.
Business Exchange elects 3 to board
The Columbia Business Exchange has announced that three members have been elected to its board of directors: Julie Hofmann, Peggy Keyes and Bill Gardner.
The exchange also elected new officers: Darrell Nevin, president; Matt Horowitz, vice president; Bill Gardner, secretary and Ms. Keyes, treasurer.
Mincher joins Apollo International
Judy Mincher of Ellicott City has joined Apollo International in Columbia as the director of services.
Apollo is a company created to help solve hair-loss problems for men.
Sherman and Rose to URTA board
Kim Sherman and Leon Rose have joined the board of directors of Howard County's Urban Rural Transportation Alliance (URTA). They are filling the final year of unexpired terms that end in June 1995.
Ms. Sherman is associate professor of decision science at Loyola College. Mr. Rose is a financial writer and former publisher.
URTA also elected Allan Hobby as president; Mary Jo Barranco, vice president and Priscilla Hart, secretary/treasurer.
