Severn woman reports abduction by boyfriend

THE BALTIMORE SUN

A Severn woman told county police Tuesday afternoon that her boyfriend abducted her from a Baltimore County party Friday night and held her captive for several days, officials said.

Police said the 32-year-old woman had a black eye, a swollen right side and bruises on her head when she was interviewed. She told them her boyfriend, who she said is 34 and lives in Owings Mills, beat her repeatedly during her captivity and threatened to kill her, police said.

The woman is staying with a couple in Severn for her safety, police said. She said she escaped from her boyfriend Tuesday, but did not tell police how she did so or got to Severn. She has been referred to Baltimore County police.
