A Baltimore community development group will sponsor a housing expo Friday focusing on neighborhood redevelopment and affordable housing.

The Baltimore Community Development Financing Corp.'s expo will run from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Brokerage, 34 Market Place, for anyone interested in finding or developing housing for low- and moderate-income families.

The corporation encourages local business people to develop affordable housing and rehabilitate vacant buildings.

CDFC makes loans available to single- and multi-family projects through a variety of funds that offer long-term financing at below-market rates. It also makes acquisition and rehabilitation funds available to individuals and small businesses in various neighborhoods.
