Baysox beaten, 4-3, in 12 innings

BOWIE -- Rey Ordonez drove in Chris Saunders in the 12th inning last night, giving the Binghamton Mets a 4-3 victory over the Bowie Baysox in a Double-A Eastern League game before 5,622 at Prince George's Stadium. Saunders had doubled to open the 12th.

The Mets, who were shut out for eight innings before scoring the game-winning run, had 18 hits against five Bowie pitchers.

Binghamton left 15 runners on base, and the Baysox stranded nine.

Bowie's Alex Ochoa went 4-for-5 with his 11th home run.
