* Woodbine: Someone damaged a U.S. Postal Service vehicle while it was parked in the Woodbine area between 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday, state police said. The damage to the windshield and the rear window of the vehicle was estimated at $200. Police said a soft drink bottle was thrown through the glass.

FIRE

* Winfield: Firefighters from Winfield cleaned up spilled fuel at the scene of an accident at Routes 97 and 26 at 6:24 a.m. yesterday. They were out for 20 minutes.

Equipment from Winfield was dispatched to investigate an odor of smoke in a building in the 4700 block of Old Washington Road at 11:04 p.m. Saturday. Units were out for 21 minutes.

Winfield was sent to a pole fire on Liberty Road at 12:50 p.m. Sunday. Units were out for 10 minutes.

Firefighters from Winfield assisted Frederick County at a barn fire on Liberty Road at 11:07 a.m. Sunday. They were out for 20 minutes.
