Want to start planning to be on hand when Cal Ripken breaks Lou Gehrig's consecutive-games streak?

Circle late June 1995 on your calendar. The American League has tentatively approved a schedule in which Ripken could tie Gehrig's record on June 20 and break it June 21 at Camden Yards. Both games are against Gehrig's team, the New York Yankees.

Of course, a few things could change those plans -- most notably the strike that has been set to start Aug. 12.
