Seventy-two elementary and secondary school science teachers...

Seventy-two elementary and secondary school science teachers are participating in a two-week science workshop at the Naval Academy.

Called the Maury Project, the workshop will improve science teaching skills. The co-directors are Associate Professor David R. Smith of the Naval Academy's Oceanography Department and Ira W. Greer, education director of the American Meteorological Society.

The workshop will be held at the Naval Academy for the next three summers.
