County police arrested and charged two men and two women in prostitution-related incidents in Brooklyn Park this week.
In the first case, an officer arrested a Baltimore man and a Pasadena woman Sunday night in the 4700 block of Belle Grove Road in Brooklyn Park, officials said.
The officer was on routine patrol shortly after 8 p.m. when he noticed a Dodge van parked on a lot. As he walked to the van he noticed a man and a woman, both partially clothed, get out through the side doors, police said.
A bent soda can and a rolled-up dollar bill containing a substance suspected to be crack cocaine was on the floor of the van between the front seats, police said.
The man told the officer he picked up the woman on Patapsco Avenue and Fairhaven Avenue in Baltimore. The woman offered him sex in exchange for $20, the man told police, and he gave her the money, which she used to buy crack cocaine. He held the soda can, and the woman used it to smoke crack, police said.
The woman told the officer that she agreed to have sex for $20, but that she made the crack can for the man to smoke crack.
Terrance Darnell Campbell, 40, of the 3900 block of Rokeby Road was charged with possession of crack cocaine. Bridget Evon Donathan, 26, of the 800 block of Montrose Road was charged with prostitution and possession of crack cocaine.
Monday afternoon, police arrested a Baltimore woman and a Glen Burnie man on narcotics, prostitution and traffic charges on Matthews Avenue near Church Street, county police said.
About 2:30 p.m. a Northern District officer on routine patrol noticed a Dodge truck heading south on Matthews Avenue turn onto a dirt road toward an area known for prostitution, officials said.
The truck stopped about 120 yards down the dirt road, police said. The officer walked up to the vehicle and asked the driver for his license and registration. The man had no registration, no insurance and the license on the truck was not on file, police said.
The man told the officer that he picked up the woman in Baltimore. She asked him to take her to the dirt road so she could meet a friend, police said.
Once on the road, the woman said she would perform a sex act if the man gave her $20, police said.
The woman consented to a search of a plastic bag she was carrying, police said. They found a small bag of a white substance that field tested positive for cocaine and narcotics paraphernalia, police said.
Georgia Ann Lilly, 23, of the 3700 block of Seventh St. in Brooklyn was charged with prostitution and possession of cocaine. Raymond Eugene Ensey, 35, of the 100 block of Fifth Ave. was charged with driving while uninsured.
