POLICE LOG

* Ellicott City: 12300 block of Pans Spring Court: Residents returned home, opened the garage door and saw thieves going out of the front door Tuesday. The robbers used a pillowcase to carry jewelry and a television set from the home. The rear French doors and front door of the home had been pried and pushed open, police said.
