The State Highway Administration is resurfacing Route 9 from the Lisbon traffic circle to the Montgomery County line.

SHA officials say the work is necessary to replace the deteriorated road and shoulder surfaces. Single-lane closures are scheduled between 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. C. J. Miller of Hampstead was awarded the $450,000 contract. The project is expected to be finished by late October.
