BUGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2800 block of Mayfield Ave. through a rear door Tuesday and stole $75 from a purse.
THEFT: Northeastern District -- Four tires and wheels, all valued at $800, were stolen from a vehicle parked at J & P Motors in the 6400 block of Harford Road Tuesday.
ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A man was in the 2000 block of Odell Ave. Tuesday when two men assaulted and robbed him of $175.
BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a garage the 3600 block of Glen Ave. Tuesday and stole lawn-care equipment, tools and other items, all valued at more than $1,000.
ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman robbed the Remco store in the 5900 block of Reisterstown Road of more than $100 Tuesday.
ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 2000 block of Druid Park Drive was in the 3700 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Tuesday when a gunman robbed him of more than $100.
CARJACKING/ARRESTS: Towson Precinct -- Two men were arrested and charged with stealing an East Baltimore woman's car at gunpoint Tuesday. The victim, a resident of Hudson Street, was forced out of her 1988 Toyota Celica by two men, one with a handgun, after stopping her car in the 500 block of Delaware Ave. Witnesses saw the car speed off and notified police. In the 7200 block of Oxford Road, police arrested the men as they attempted to hide near some houses. The car also was recovered. Charged with armed carjacking and robbery with a ** deadly weapon and being held without bail in the Detention Center are David R. Warren, 21, of the first block of MacAleer Court, and Christopher M. Hawkins, 21, of the 1300 block of E. Lafayette Ave.
PROSTHESIS STOLEN: Edgewood -- Someone stole an artificial leg that was delivered to the occupant of a townhouse in the 900 block of Cedarcrest Court over the weekend. The prothesis, valued at more than $1,000, was delivered July 22 by Federal Express and placed at the front door of the apartment at 10 a.m. At 1 p.m., the occupant arrived home and later learned that someone had apparently stolen the prosthesis. The theft wasn't reported to police until Tuesday.
