Glen Burnie man, 36, is found fatally shot

BALTIMORE -- A 36-year-old Glen Burnie man was shot to death last night on a Westport street.

City police responding to a report of a shooting in the 2400 block of Annor Court shortly after 11 p.m. found the victim, Reno Owens, of the 6400 block of Cedar Furnace Court, lying on the pavement in front of a house.

Police said the man had been shot in the head, neck and back and was pronounced dead at the scene by the crew of a city fire department ambulance.

Police had made no arrest in the case and knew of no motive for the slaying.
