Motorcyclist taken to Shock Trauma

THE BALTIMORE SUN

A 30-year-old Severna Park man remained in serious but stable condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore yesterday after a motorcycle accident on Manhattan Beach Road Sunday morning, county police said.

James Roland Dockery of the 300 block of Community Road lost control of his motorcycle about 12:30 a.m., police said. The cycle flipped over three times at the intersection of Manhattan Beach Road and Windrush Farm Lane.

Police believe Mr. Dockery, who was not wearing a helmet, had been traveling at a high rate of speed when the accident occurred. A Maryland state police helicopter flew him to Shock Trauma, police said.

Charges of driving while intoxicated, driving under the influence and other motor vehicle violations are pending against Mr. Dockery, police said.
