Motorist is robbed at gas station


A Glen Burnie man was hit in the face and robbed yesterday morning at a gas station on Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard near Eighth Avenue, police said.

Marvin Siakler, 24, of Oakwood Road told police he went to the station around 1:30 a.m. As he tried to open the door to his gas tank, he felt a hand reach into his pocket and take his money. When he turned around, he was hit in the face.

Mr. Siakler said he saw two men enter a dark-green Mustang driven by another man and they fled in the car, police said.

Muggers injure victim, take wallet and $10

Three men jumped a Glen Burnie man Friday afternoon, forced him to the ground and took his wallet containing $10, county police said.

Shahnazari Norayr, 47, of the 6300 block of S. Santonio Court was slightly injured in the incident but refused medical treatment, police said.

He was walking in the 6600 block of Roberts Court shortly after 1 p.m. when three men walked up to him. One man put him in a choke hold and forced him to the ground, police said. The other two took his wallet from his back pocket. The men then ran toward West Ordnance Road, police said.

Police arrest 3 on drug charges

Three people were arrested on narcotics charges Saturday morning after police found crack cocaine, PCP, marijuana and narcotics paraphernalia in a house in the 100 block of Fifth Ave. S.E., police said.

Officers went to the house around midnight after a tipster called to say drugs were being sold and used there, police said. Officers went to the house and spoke with the owner, who agreed to let them search the home, police said.

They found two men and a woman sitting at a kitchen table covered with drugs and paraphernalia. All three were arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine, marijuana and PCP; possession of narcotics paraphernalia; and the unlawful manufacture of narcotics, police said.

They are: Robert Lee Teal, 23, of the 100 block of Fifth Ave. S.E.; Norman Charles Abrams, 28, of the 7600 block of O'Daniel Court in Glen Burnie; and Denise Lynn Hampton, 32, of the 1600 block of Cypress St. in Baltimore.

They were being held at the Anne Arundel County jail. Mr. Teal was being held on $90,000 bail; Mr. Abrams was being held on $70,000 bail; and Ms. Hampton was being held on $75,000 bail.

The woman who owns the house was not charged, police said.
