POLICE

* Westminster: An official of the Carroll County permits and inspections agency told city police Thursday that the passenger window of a county vehicle was smashed while it was parked in the 100 block of N. Court St. The damage was estimated at $200.

An East Main Street resident told city police Wednesday that property was taken from his vehicle while it was parked in front of his home. The extent of the loss was unknown.

A Sheetz employee told city police Wednesday that someone pumped $14 worth of gasoline at the convenience store/station and left without paying.

A John Street resident told city police Wednesday that his $300 bicycle was stolen.

FIRE

* Reese: Firefighters from Reese and Westminster responded to a fire alarm in the 2200 block of Old Westminster Pike at 3:15 a.m. Friday. They were out 25 minutes.

* Westminster: Engines from Westminster and New Windsor responded to a house fire in the 400 block of Old New Windsor Pike at 8:51 p.m. Thursday. Units were out 40 minutes.
