Longtime WJZ-TV (Channel 13) anchor and reporter Sandra Pinckney is moving to WMAR-TV (Channel 2) -- after a year's paid vacation similar to the one anchor Sally Thorner enjoyed when she jumped in the opposite direction from WMAR to WJZ.

Ms. Pinckney, who joined WJZ in 1977 as a management trainee, will join co-anchor Keith Cate on the 6 p.m. broadcast in July 1995.
