McCrone Inc. hires Tribett as project manager


George Tribett has recently joined McCrone Inc. as a project manager in the Annapolis Office.

McCrone Inc. an engineering, environmental consulting, surveying and land planning firm, has seven offices serving government, private industry and individual clients throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

Mr. Tribett will direct staff and oversee completion of site design projects throughout central Maryland.

He has 19 years of civil engineering expertise and was formerly the principal of Tribett Co. Inc., a land development services firm.

He was district engineer for the Anne Arundel County Soil Conservation District for seven years and has studied architectural technology and acquired training and expertise in computer software systems.

He is active in community affairs and is currently a member of the board of directors for the Gambrills-Odenton Recreation Council and resides in Gambrills with his wife and three sons.

Foundation trustees elect Lewis chairman

The Maryland Hall Foundation Board of Trustees has named David R. Lewis its chairman for next year, succeeding Anna E. Greenberg.

Mr. Lewis is president and chief executive officer of the Osprey Property Group of Annapolis and serves as chairman of JCF Partners in Landover.

He is a registered professional engineer and a member of the Institute of Civil Engineers (Great Britain), the Urban Land Institute, and the state Department of Community and Economic Development Advisory Council.

He also has directed the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra and is a member of the Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum Board of Trustees, located in Calvert County where he resides.

The Maryland Hall Foundation Board of Trustees is the fund-raising arm of Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.

Goldberg, Brice named top producers

Weichert, Shannon & Luchs Realtors recently announced that Pam Goldberg and Jerry Brice were the top producers for the Annapolis office in June.

Ms. Goldberg also was honored as the top listing and top dollar volume associate.

Chuck Coble named executive director

Providence Center has named Chuck Coble its executive director.

Mr. Coble, who started with Providence Center five years ago as assistant director, was most recently deputy executive director.

Providence Center is a nonprofit agency that offers support and job placement for people with disabilities.
