Jennifer Lewis of Woodmont Country Club won the qualifying round of the Maryland State Women's Amateur Championship yesterday at Old South Golf Course in Lothian.

Lewis shot a 73, one stroke ahead of Katie O'Neill.

Match play, which determines the championship, begins today and runs through Friday.
