* North Laurel: 9400 block of Woodsong Court: A tan 1990 Ford Ranger truck with Maryland tags 0A9419 was stolen Monday morning, police said.

* Scaggsville: 8200 block of Splashing Brook: A rear basement window was pried open at a residence recently, and jewelry and handguns were stolen. The burglary was reported at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
