Night-vision glasses stolen from Edgewater marine store

Someone made off with a pair of of mariner night-vision glasses worth nearly $2,300 Tuesday night from the Boaters World Inc. store in the 2400 block of Solomons Island Road, county police said yesterday.

A clerk told police that he saw a man looking at the glasses some time after 8 p.m., but that he was distracted by a second man.

When he looked again, the first man had gone.

Store employees noticed that the glasses were missing just before 9 p.m., police said.
