Severn man, 29, stabbed in chest spouse is charged

THE BALTIMORE SUN

A 29-year-old Severn man was in stable condition yesterday at the Kimbrough Army Hospital in Fort Meade after he was stabbed in the chest during a domestic dispute Tuesday, county police said.

Police said they entered a house in the 1700 block of Carriage Court about 3:45 p.m. and found Harl Douglas Page sitting on the stairs, bleeding from a chest wound. His wife, Darline Page, 34, was subsequently charged with assault and battery and stabbing with the intent to maim, police said.

The couple told police they had been arguing over whose furniture would be used in their new house. Mr. Page apparently had sold a dining room table without consulting his wife, police said, and the argument escalated into a physical confrontation.
