An armed man robbed an Ellicott City gas station and then fled with stolen cash early yesterday morning, Howard County police said.
No injuries were reported in the 2:17 a.m. robbery. According to police, the man entered a small store at the Crown service station in the 9300 block of Route 40 and approached the cashier.
Police say the man displayed a handgun and demanded cash. Once the cashier turned over the money, the man ran from the building.
Detectives are continuing the investigation.
