The State Highway Administration will be installing a traffic signal at the intersection of Route 140 (East Baltimore Street) and Grand Drive in Taneytown this month.

The signal is expected to help lessen traffic congestion from the library and the Fairgrounds Village subdivision, as well as traffic heading west on Route 140 from the Taneytown Shopping Center.

It will be in operation in August.
