AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Central District -- A 71-year-old man was beaten in his apartment on the first block of W. 20th St. by a male in his 30s armed with frying pans Sunday afternoon. The man, who suffered head injuries, bruises and an injured left arm, was admitted to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he is in good condition.

SHOOTING: Central District -- A 37-year-old man was shot in his right forearm early this morning by two males in their early 20s on the 600 block of Pitcher St. The man was treated and released from Shock Trauma.

STOLEN AUTO: Central District -- A blue 1986 Chevrolet Celebrity with Maryland tags BNJ 816 was stolen from the 900 block of W. North St. Saturday night.

ARSON/ARREST: Northwestern District -- Police arrested a man Sunday after receiving a report that he attempted to burn down a home on the 3800 block of W. Cold Spring Lane. The fire caused $100 worth of structural damage and destroyed clothing valued at $210.

STOLEN AUTO: Northwestern District -- A 1987 silver Mazda with Maryland tags BJV 785 was stolen from the 3800 block of Howard Park Ave. overnight Saturday.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two unknown juveniles approached a man from behind on the 3000 block of N. Charles St., demanded money and then fled with $7.

THEFT: Northern District -- Someone entered an apartment building on the 2100 block of Chase St. Sunday night and stole a watch and ring valued at $235.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone climbed the fire escape on an apartment building on the 2400 block of N. Charles St., kicked in a window and stole a telephone and compact discs valued at $370.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A man was robbed of $5 by a man armed with a knife on the 4200 block of Nicholas Ave. Sunday night.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A man was robbed Sunday of his bicycle by a 16-year-old male on the 4200 block of Erdman Ave.

RACIAL ASSAULT:Essex Precinct -- Police arrested one white adult and two white juveniles Sunday night after a black female reported that they harassed her while she was driving and attempted to ram her vehicle with their 1988 Chevrolet Cavalier near the intersection of Eastern Boulevard and Diamond Point Road.

BURGLARY: Essex Precinct -- Someone entered the front window of a home on the 1000 block of N. Marlyn Ave. Sunday morning and stole a purse containing $61 and a window fan.

ARMED ROBBERY: Parkville Precinct -- A man implying that he had a weapon robbed the High's of Baltimore store on the 7400 block of Belair Road of an unknown amount of money from the cash register Sunday night.

THEFT/ARRESTS: Cockeysville Precinct -- Police arrested two 49-year-old men Sunday after receiving a report that they had stolen three unassembled kitchen cabinets from a house under construction on the 11700 block of Hunters Run Drive. The two suspects, whose names are being withheld pending charges, were pursued down Interstate 83 into Baltimore in a chase that also involved state and city police. The two men struck a city police cruiser, causing slight damage, and were caught near Druid Park Drive as they attempted to escape on foot. One man suffered a broken leg during the chase and is in custody at the Liberty Medical Center.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- Someone entered a home on the first block of Deep Run Road and stole jewelry, money, a television, a VCR and a compact disc player valued at $6,200 sometime between July 1 and Saturday.

BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- Someone entered a home on the first block of Hampston Court overnight Saturday and stole jewelry and bedsheets valued at $950.

STOLEN CAR: Towson Precinct -- A brown 1989 Acura Legend with Maryland tags XHE 654 was stolen Sunday morning from the 7200 block of Berbena Road.

ROBBERY: Woodlawn Precinct -- An estimated $4,700 in cash, clocks and televisions were stolen from a car dealership in the 6400 block of Baltimore National Pike Saturday.
