BOWIE -- Amateur Greg Huss, sidelined by a dislocated elbow until two weeks ago, marked his return to the golf course with a 6-under-par 33-3164, and an outright victory in a Middle Atlantic PGA pro-am tournament at Bowie Golf & Country Club yesterday.

It was a career record by four shots for the long-hitting Huss, 23, a five-handicapper who works for a lawn care company and plays from the host club. He finished with a run of four birdies for a total of eight birdies and two bogeys.

"I had one three-putt, but most of the birdie putts were from inside of 10 feet," Huss said.
