Town receives grant for bypass study

THE BALTIMORE SUN

New Windsor has received grant money that will enable it to conduct a feasibility study for a highway bypass around the town, officials announced at the Town Council meeting Wednesday night.

Town officials had joined other municipal leaders in applying for a state grant for the project. The participating municipalities will split more than $64,000.

New Windsor will add its share of the money to a $2,000 grant it received earlier.
