* Hampstead: A Warpath Drive resident told state police that someone broke into his car and stole a stereo system while the vehicle was parked near the house on Monday. The loss was estimated at $983.

FIRE

* Hampstead: Hampstead and Manchester firefighters responded to a brush fire in the 4700 block of Gross Mill Road at 4:43 Tuesday. Crews were out for 24 minutes.

Crews from Hampstead, Manchester and Arcadia of Baltimore County went to a house fire in the 900 block of Houcksville Road at 4:59 p.m. Sunday. They were out for 14 minutes.
