SHOOTING: Northern District -- A 34-year-old Baltimore man was in good condition at Sinai Hospital after being shot in the ankle, elbow and right leg during an argument in the 700 block of Glenwood Ave. at 3:30 a.m. yesterday.

SHOOTING: Northern District -- A 17-year-old girl was shot in the leg as she walked in the 2900 block of Huntington Ave. at 12:15 a.m. yesterday. She was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center.

ATTEMPTED RAPE: Central District -- An unidentified man grabbed a woman who was walking in the 100 block of W. Mount Royal Ave., threw her in nearby bushes, and choked and attempted to rape her early yesterday morning. The woman fled when a car pulled up and distracted the assailant.

ARMED ROBBERY: Central District -- The White Rice Inn in the 300 block of Park Ave. was held up by two men who entered the restaurant as it was closing Saturday night. One man drew a handgun and took more than $300 from the cash register. An employee pursued the men afterward and caught one, who was arrested.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Someone slipped through the open window of a rental van that was parked at Travel Plaza, in the 5600 block of O'Donnell St. and took several handbags containing cash and airline tickets. A camera and AM-FM radio also were stolen. The theft occurred between noon and 12:50 p.m. yesterday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A 36-year-old Baltimore man told police he was walking in the 1200 block of E. Fayette St. at 9:10 p.m. Saturday when a man approached him, pulled a handgun and robbed him of $80 and a gold ring valued at $150.

ARMED ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A man walking in the 1600 block of Bank St. about 4:50 p.m. Saturday was grabbed by a man who pulled a knife, held it to his stomach and robbed him of $300 cash. The victim, a 64-year-old Baltimore man, was uninjured.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- An unidentified assailant robbed a woman in a high-rise apartment building in the 1000 block of Orleans St. about 11:30 p.m. Saturday. The woman said she was walking in a hallway when the man grabbed her, put a gun to her head and robbed her of $110.

ASSAULT: Southeastern District -- Police said a woman arguing with her boyfriend in the 100 block of S. Broadway broke a beer bottle against a curb and slashed his arm early Saturday morning. The cut required 37 stitches. She has not been located.

CARJACK: Northeastern District -- A gunman approached the owner of a 1988 Acura Legend in the 2700 block of The Alameda and drove away in the car at 1:50 p.m. Saturday. The car owner was not injured.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a home in the 3800 block of Rexmere Road and stole a video cassette recorder between 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- An armed man robbed a cab driver of an unspecified sum of money early yesterday morning in the 2600 block of Glens Falls Parkway. The driver was not injured.

ARMED ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A 19-year-old man was held up at gunpoint about 5 a.m. yesterday in the 3000 block of Edmondson Ave. The unidentified robber took the gym bag the victim was carrying and some clothing.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A television set and a video cassette recorder were stolen from a home in the 3600 block of Windsor Mill Road between 3 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

ARMED ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- An unidentified armed robber took cash from a 60-year-old man in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. at 11:55 a.m. Sunday.
