THEFT: Northeastern District -- A tennis racket, two softball gloves and two stereo speakers, all valued at $800, were stolen from a car parked at Memorial Stadium in the 1000 block of E. 33rd St. during Wednesday night's exhibition football game.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A gunman robbed a man of cash and property, all valued at more than $300, in the 2600 block of Polk St. Wednesday.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- Property valued at more than $900 was stolen from a house in the 4800 block of Hamilton Ave. Wednesday.

ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking a man who attacked a resident of the 1200 block of Rossiter Ave. near the victim's home Wednesday and struck him with a knife.

ABDUCTION/ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3700 block of Fairview Road was in the 5800 block of Wabash Ave. Tuesday night when two men, one with a handgun, entered his car and told him to drive off. Hours later in Silver Spring in Montgomery County, the two men robbed the motorist and escaped on foot.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 6900 block of Reisterstown Road was in the 4000 block of Fallstaff Road Wednesday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $400.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 5200 block of Denmore Ave. was in the 5100 block of Park Heights Ave. Wednesday when a man pointed a starter pistol at him and robbed him of property valued at $50. Police arrested a suspect and were holding him pending robbery and deadly weapon charges.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Essex Precinct -- Stereo equipment valued at nearly $1,200 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 500 block of Franklin Ave.

BURGLARY: Essex Precinct -- Jewelry and stereo equipment, all valued at more than $700, were stolen from a house in the first block of Ambo Circle Wednesday.
