Two men attempt to rob Elkridge convenience store

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Two would-be robbers fled an Elkridge convenience store Saturday when their attempt to rob the store with a knife failed, Howard County police said.

About 12:10 p.m., the suspects entered the High's in the 6200 block of Washington Boulevard and approached two clerks. No customers were in the store at the time, police said.

One of the suspects displayed a large knife and demanded cash. The two fled when clerks refused to turn over money. The suspects, described as white males, drove off in a pick-up truck.
